Vintage Pair of 1960's Mid Century Black Lucite Acrylic GOLDFISH AQUARIUM or Fish Bowl Design Reverse Carved BOOKENDS
these are so fun!
Each bookend has an orange goldfish surrounded by a school of smaller pink fish and a companion yellow fish friend to the right
there are subtle differences between each piece: the carved aquatic plant life is slightly different, as is the bubble pattern and color strength used to paint the design
made from black lucite with thick clear lucite "front" face
each bookend face measures 4.5" x 6"
flaws:
some visual "cracking" seen along edges-where the clear acrylic meets the black lucite backing (it looks like small whitish colored score/wrinkle marks along each vertical side)- also  the original felted "feet" on base are worn away, there are a few small surface scratches seen on the front clear lucite acrylic
