Filti Face Mask Filter Material - MERV 16... 20 pcs 6" by 4" Heat sterilized

Description

Filti material is laser cut to 6 inch by 4 inch - it can easily be trimmed with scissors to fit the pocket size on any cloth face mask. 20 pieces per package.
Filti material contains no fiberglass. It is a spun non-woven material with a polyester surface layer.
Filti material is tested to be MERV 16 compliant - this means it will filter 95% of particles as small as 0.3 microns (human hair for reference is about 50 microns) and yet is still a very breathable material.
Comparative efficiencies are:  Polyester / cotton tights   2.5%,   Polyester dress shirt   2.5%,  Cotton shirt  9.3%, Microfiber dish towel  14.5%.
Filti material can be handwashed but the manufacturer does not recommended washing since it will decrease the filtration efficiency. Do not iron this material - it will collapse the fibers and stop filtration.
Material is laser cut and then heated to 180F before packaging to eliminate any bacterial or viral contamination.
Please follow manufacturer's recommendation on orientating material in the mask
