Product Information:
Faktu is a medicine that contains cinchocaine and policresulen. It belongs to a group of medicines for the treatment of hemorrhoids. The main active ingredient of the medicament is policresulen. Policresulen affect on damaged tissue, while it has no effect on helathy tissue. Cinchocaine has a role to reduce the pain and itching of hemorrhoids.
They are used in the treatment of hemorrhoids, especially if they are accompanied by inflammation and bleeding. This medicine inhibit bleeding and also speeds up the process of healing hemorrhoids. It has an antiseptic effect, that prevents the occurrence of infection.
Precautions:
It can not be used or can be used, only with great caution in the following conditions:

Faktu ointment:
Faktu ointment should be applied to the affected area 2-3 times a day.
Faktu ointment is usually applied in the rectum using the applicator that comes with this ointment. The applicator is screwed onto a flexible tube which is then squeezed into the central passageway after the tube is inserted in the anus.
Ointment should be used after emptying the bowel.
Keep in mind that you can stain your clothes, because the ointment melts at body temperature. You can wear the cartridge to prevent stains on your clothes.
Ointment should be applied as long as your doctor recommends.

There are no known interactions between this and other medications.
