The John P. Daleiden Co., founded in Chicago in 1872, was in the church goods business, primarily Roman Catholic.  They sold everything from rosaries to alters and other statuary for many of the churches in the Chicago area.  The original business was located at 299-301 North Ave. until they built a new building at 1530-32 Sedgwick St., which held their factory, store and distribution for a catalog orders.  The Daleiden family owned this building from the time they had it built in 1910 until the building was sold in 1994.
Pre-owned.  The biretta is in Excellent Condition - looks brand new and unworn.  The box shows age and wear with a few rips and stains (see photos).
