It is a contemporary handmade alb made by members of a Catholic religious organization in my area within the last 20 years. The shirt portion iis polished cotton with unusual square cut shoulder/arm sections in its design. The V cut neckline in held by two hook and eye systems and the beautiful crochet lace skirt in repeating circle and square cross patterning, is attached to the upper part  including  a 2 1/4” overlapping border hem.
The alb measures 68“ long from the center back neckline to the bottom edge of the skir, which is approx. 37“ diameter wide at the bottom. About 38” of this length is the lace, including the 2 1/4” overlap. The arm lengths measure 19“ long from underarms to outer cuff portions which are 9“ diameters wide. The neckline is 8“ diameter with the V front 7 1/2“ deep. This should ideally fit a medium sized person.
Condition is graded generally Very Fine, with the crochet lace 99% perfect except for two small imperfections noted in the patterning near the botom edge; (you can see these in photo #7), hardly noticeable when the garment is worn- an attractive modern interpretation of the clerical alb used in religious ceremonial today.
