BOVANO OF CHESHIRE - MCM ABSTRACT DESIGN - GOLD ORANGE BROWN ENAMEL ON COPPER

Description

This auction is for a plate in an abstract design in rich brown, gold, orange, and gray - or greenish gray depending on your own perception of color. This mid-century design is both reminiscent of a sunburst and a vividly blooming flower.
It is square with rounded edges and measures about 6 1/2 inches across. The sides are curving up in a soft line and the plate is characterized by the clean modern lines of the middle of last century.
Whether you are collecting vintage enamel pieces, or vintage pieces in a certain color range, this neat plate - of high quality and in very good condition - should be a worthwhile addition to your treasures.
The original paper label came off when I wiped the plate to take the pictures, but I will include it and you will find the original glue is still on the bottom of this colorful vintage plate.
