    Description

I want to thank everyone that contacted me after the auction was over with interest in this car. Of course Ebay appropriately blocked my messaging back. Please message me again now that we have a live listing once again.
I bought this car in December of 2013 with 26000 miles on it but I didn't start restoration until much later. If you are reading this listing you probably already know the amazing history that the TVR automobile has. It was originally brought over to be a Cobra beater being 500 lbs. lighter when using the same ford engine and they named it the Griffith. When I bought this car it had been garaged since 1994. The TVR 2500M's used the TR6 parts (running gear) -- so these are easy to find parts. Other parts are also still available as TVR has a strong following.
One of the first projects on it was having the 6 cylinder TR6 engine overhauled. Famed Wichita mechanic Leroy Thompson owner of Al Wellman shop did the overhaul and brought the car into driving condition. While the engine was out the clutch was replaced. New electronic distributer. New suspension and brake parts were used. New exhaust. This car starts every time and drives excellent. Paint was completed by Eye Candy Garage in Wichita Kansas and are known for their fiberglass and classic restoration work. Its seats have been reupholstered but the carpet could be also re-done. No problem with electrics and starts up under a cold start with pulling out choke and popping the gas peddle a couple of times. This TVR like all TVR's has a racing tube frame. The car must have been in a fender bender at some point before my ownership as some fiberglass work was done on the left rear fender and the rear tube was bent slightly in. This slight damage doesn't affect anything (picture included) of frame piece.
This car has interesting ownership history.  1st owner was the founding person of the "Renaissance Community"  a western , Massachusetts commune/ church organization.  The 2nd owner was a retired Brigadier General from Westover Airforce Base. I am the third owner.
Listed under Triumph because Ebay doesn't have a TVR listing. I drive this car regularly as shown by the fact it has nearly 32,000 miles in it now. It's a very fun and rare interesting car that gets the attention you might expect. I was ushered into the top spot at cars and coffee once.
Please contact me with any Questions.
The color of the TVR is not black  It's 2006 Jaguar dark grey copper metalic
