    Description

    Untouched, early 1950s modernist trash container/wastebasket by Jens Risom. Jens Risom Design Inc. USA. Wood (oak or teak) with hard plastic shell bottom. Early Risom label intact underneath. I have shown the biggest issue, a sliver out of the top. More minor nicks, some scratches but in overall good condition. The holes in the bottom are more than likely someone emptying an ashtray? They did that back then. It absolutely has no odor from that! Awesome MCM piece, hard to find original.
